We opened in September of 2022 with a brand new facility. And as with every new endeavor, after a little time and many, many, experiences good and bad, mostly good, you find your niche in the field. What works best for the park and your guests and friends.
Cedar Ridge RV Park is a small park; we have 14 RV sites and three rental cabins on approximately 5 acres. Eight sites have private decks, and 6 have concrete pads. All are full hookups. We have no tent camping. We have a shower and laundry facility and have boat parking. We are about a ½ mile from the Beech River access boat ramp and about 2 miles from Perryville Marina. There are two nearby restaurants and a mini-mart with a grocery store about four miles away. We are currently in construction of a clubhouse for camp cookouts and ballgames/sporting events.
As it has worked out, we predominantly have an over 45 crowd of professionals and/or retired/semi-retired, as well as folks who use their RV as a second vacation home near the Tennessee River. We also have a significant amount of guests who are relocating to Tennessee. We have no facilities for kids. So as it has worked out, our little nitch in the RV world is a quiet, drama-free, relaxing type of long-term stay park. Although overnight and short-term stays are welcome.
What We Offer:
What We Require:
A copy of camp rules are available on request and at check-in.
The Tennesse River is a beautiful body of water, great for enjoying boating and sightseeing, fishing, swimming, and many other activities. However, it can be dangerous; it can and does flood. Many RVs have been lost or damaged by flooding, and the flood waters may stay for a while, days or weeks. Most RV Parks in the flood zone do their best to warn people of flooding. But the responsibility of moving an RV to a safe location lies solely with the owner. Cedar Ridge RV Park is not in the flood zone.
We have a Sea Ray Cabin Cruiser in a slip at the beautiful Perryville Marina. It always makes for an enjoyable experience when guests from different parts of the country get to see the Tennessee River and all its wildlife and scenic beauty. There is no charge for these cruises. But gas money is always appreciated.
So whether you're here overnight or long-term, enjoy a river cruise, adding to the RV lifestyle and experience. Just ask us for a boat ride, and remember, it’s always lady’s day on the boat!
